Elisabetta Pesaresi and Pietro Sabbatini are a couple of Italian artists. They completed their high school and academic studies together, both obtaining, with honors, a master’s degree in Painting at the Accademia Albertina in Turin, TO (Italy). Continuing their journey in harmony, they moved to Toronto (ON), Canada, for a year, to broaden their vision of art and thus make it their profession

Artist’s Statement

Since 2019, Pietro Sabbatini and Elisabetta Pesaresi have been collaborating in a meticulous research dedicated to love and its facets.

Love manifests itself and can exist in any situation and in any place and form.

Represented by them as a way to achieve true inner and outer calm, which materialize in pictorial, digital and video works.

Interested in the plausible possibilities of establishing themselves as artists in a reality like the contemporary one, they continue in a search for details and particulars that can change entire situations.

Representations of children, human figures, boundless, non-existent, near, far places, are words that try to narrate the days lived with poetry, elegance and delicacy.

Where there are fantastic and illusory references as in a very long dream of waking up in a soft bed of flowers and sea water.
